We are SO EXCITED that you’re choosing to begin your journey with Yoga Krewe - even if you have been to a class before, we’re still thrilled that you’re beginning again! Here are a couple of tips to get you started…
First, be ready for class!
Wear comfortable, loose fitting exercise clothes
If you don’t have a mat, we have some available at the studio to rent ($1)
Arrive a few minutes early with a smile - you may see someone you know!
Once you’re in class - RELAX! We were all new to this once!
Before class begins, make sure to speak with the teacher if you have any injuries or concerns about weak areas in your body. They will help you modify your practice so that it is right for you! If you’re having trouble keeping with the flow, feel free to rest in Child’s Pose. There is no judgement here - it’s your practice. Once the class is over, talk to the Teacher about your experience.
After class, you should feel balanced! Honor yourself for making it to the mat. Drink lots of water and be mindful of how your body feels. If you have questions, please reach out to us!
